I usually try to get this newsletter out every two weeks, but I miscalculated on a calendar. So this issue is reaching you one week later than it was intended. Website Traffic Demolition A well designed website is one of the most important keys in having a website at all. Yet I'm amazed at the amount of websites which seem to completely forget this! I recently wrote about some of the things which can keep people away from your website. I published these articles in my newsletter, Awesome Solutions For Webmasters. Even after writing the articles and publishing them in my newsletter, I knew that I could provide more information. That's why I decided to put it and more into this ebook. I suggest that you use this ebook as a checklist for your website. Are you doing something you shouldn't be doing? The different things mentioned in here are not small matters. ==========================================================- 3. Cool Tool : Wordnet University I joined Wordnet University on the 25th of April. On May 1st, Ralph updated the website with a new design, giving it a much more professional look. Another change is that instead of reading the testimonials, you LISTEN to them. I thought this was a really interesting idea. I immediately started downloading the videos after joining Wordnet. And I was amazed! I've owned Dreamweaver and Fireworks for about two years, and after watching the first Fireworks video, I learned some commands that I didn't know. I've finished downloading the Dreamweaver and Fireworks videos. Now I'm downloading the Flash videos, Flash being something that I've always wanted to learn. Wordnet University also has a private help forum for 'students'. I haven't posted in there yet, but I've seen that other people have and they all seem to get a quick answer from one of the moderators. Perhaps the only thing that I didn't like about the videos is that I have to download them on my dialup modem. So it's a bit slow, as compared to if I were on cable. But it was really worth the money that I paid to sign up. I've been learning new things since the first video. Thanks to Wordnet University. Check out Wordnet University.
