Does your website have consistency? When you pick up a newspaper, what do you see? An orange cover, followed by the weather in giant purple letters. And then later, Letters To the Editor, with each letter in a different color of the rainbow. No, I didn't think so. (at least, I hope your newspaper isn't the above, because that's an ugly paper.) What do newspapers have? Consistency. Does your website have consistency? Many websites are not consistent. Different fonts, colors, graphics on each page. And navigational links that change on each page, to the extent that you get lost in some websites. If you have consistency on your website, people are going to appreciate it for different reasons. -They aren't going to be afraid of clicking to another page on your website, because they know they wouldn't get a shocking surprise, or stuck on some dead page. -They'll know when they have left your website, since it'll look different from your site. -They'll be comfortable moving around your website with your navigation bar. Doing the above really isn't that hard. If you haven't, I recommend that you get software which would allow you to create templates. This makes the job of updating something, such as your navigation bar, a piece of cake. It is just a matter of changing the info on the template, saving the changes, and all the documents that were created using that template will be updated automatically. Next time, you are adding something to your website, remember. CONSISTENCY. It's a very important element of your website. ==========================================================- 3. Cool Tool : ePrompter ePrompter is an easy to use email notifier that automatically checks up to eight password protected email accounts. It can check POP3 accounts, and most web-based accounts, such as Hotmail, Juno, Mail.com, Yahoo, etc, all at the same time. Minimized, it sits in your system tray. It has a unique rotating tray icon which will show the number of messages in each account. You can delete them right from the program, and not need to log into your email account. You can't write emails from this small program, but at least you don't have to log into your email account to check your email. ePrompter will do it for you, and let you know if you have mail. How much does it cost? Free, 100% free. That's what makes this little program so great. Don't take my word for how nice it is. Download it yourself. Tip : For spam-infested email accounts, you can use ePrompter, but instead of downloading the entire email, you only download the email headers. Then you tell ePrompter to delete them. ePrompter deletes them, and then you can log into your spam-free account! ..GOT A COOL TOOL? Send me the description and url(if
